4 Cuft Bag - 200L Bale

The processing of coconut husk into coir fiber yields two primary by-products: Coco Peat (accounting for 2/3 of the husk) and fiber (1/3 of the husk). Coco Peat, also known as coir dust, coir peat, or coir pith, is widely recognized in the horticulture industry as an exceptional growing medium and a sustainable alternative to Peat Moss. Its high water retention capacity and efficiency in fertilizer usage make it a preferred choice for agricultural applications.

Before reaching its final form, Coco Peat undergoes a meticulous process of washing, sieving, and drying. It is then compressed into blocks of varying sizes based on specific customer requirements. In some cases, Coco Peat is blended with Husk Chips in customized ratios to suit the type of vegetation and client needs.

In horticulture, Coco Peat stands out as an environmentally friendly substitute for Peat Moss. It is naturally free of bacteria and fungal spores, ensuring a healthier growing medium while mitigating the adverse environmental effects caused by traditional peat mining.
